About Kinsale

A view of Kinsale Kinsale is in Co. Cork, Ireland. It is a centre for holidays, tourism, and vacations. Kinsale has been named the Gourmet capital of Ireland with some of the best restaurants and informal eating houses in the country. It has plenty of interest for gourmets including specialist shops and a wine museum. Kinsale is located 20 mins from Cork International Airport and 30 mins from the Ferry Port at Ringaskiddy.

Kinsale is a historical town with many Spanish influences. The town's setting, with its long waterfront, narrow streets and slate-clad houses captivate visitors. Compass Hill rises above the town, and overlooks a natural harbour of great beauty where the Bandon river turns south to the sea. We have three marinas in Kinsale harbour.
